A Resource for Gifted Education
We have shared our expertise as gifted specialists at National Association for Gifted Children conferences in Denver and Orlando, Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented and literacy-based conferences in Denver, and local conferences such as the Black Educator's Network Conference.
Our staff has collaborated with educators of gifted students around the world, members of the Child-Centered Gifted Consortium, and the Gifted Development Center, to develop a definition of child-centered gifted education.
It is this definition of giftedness that grounds us in this work in service of gifted learners.
Our mission is to become a resource for gifted education in the Pikes Peak Region. Our staff members regularly present on gifted education-focused issues and educational practices at national, state, and local conferences to support the families and teachers of gifted students.
