DIII Teacher

Mr. Herdendorf earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. He was a combat medic in the US Army and served four years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center’s Emergency Room. He pursued a passion in Culinary Arts earning an associate’s degree and working at Olive Garden. After moving from Buffalo, NY to Colorado Springs, CO, his family has acclimated well to the fresh air, green forests, and mountain vistas. Volunteering at his children’s school helped him recognize his passion for education. While working a full-time job, he worked to get his teaching degree and after a season of substitute teaching, he has found a home at Academy ACL. Mr. Herdendorf’s pastimes include reading fiction, hiking new trails, and playing games with his family. Everyone in the Herdendorf household is excited to become a part of the Academy ACL family.
