Kindergarten Night

GETTING READING FOR KINDERGARTEN: A WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS

  • Discover strategies that prepare children for kindergarten at any school
  • Learn how to find the right kindergarten program for you
  • Create ways to support students from their very first day of school
  • Flyer that you can share with preschools and preschool families (also available for pickup in the office)

High School Night

AcademyACL will be celebrating High School Night on DATES TBD. This is an opportunity for local high schools and all local middle school families to discuss the needs of gifted learners in high school. Middle school families can investigate the programs that best meet their needs. We encourage them to plan for their high school experience and choose their high school the same way one chooses a college: very carefully and with all the necessary information at hand.

High school representatives from many local schools and districts will have tables available in the gym for families to visit and ask questions ahead of a panel discussion. The panel discussion will include current high school students and school representatives talking about how their programs support gifted and advanced learning needs, and what they believe middle school students should do to prepare for high school. Representatives will also be at their tables to answer further questions following the panel discussion.
