Upper Division Teacher

Mrs. Buescher earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Tulane University. She worked as a software engineer developing military applications for the Department of Defense in the United States and in Germany. She also designed applications for telecommunications clients in Colorado. While taking a break from her software career to care of her young family, Mrs. Buescher began teaching science to K-6 students in after-school enrichment programs throughout the Pikes Peak Region and working as a substitute teacher. During that time, she recognized a passion for teaching children and sharing her love of learning. She pursued a Master’s in Education from the University of Northern Colorado and completed her student teaching at AcademyACL in the Spring 2014. Mrs. Buescher works part-time, in the mornings, teaching an Art of Language class and a Math class. In her free time, Mrs. Buescher enjoys time with her family, reading, hiking, and traveling. She is thrilled to be working with the staff, families and students at AcademyACL.
