Mrs. Smith graduated from Chaminade University of Honolulu with her Bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. She is currently working on her Masters in Educational Leadership at Concordia University. Mrs. Smith completed her student teaching in Germany and substituted afterwards. Previously, she tutored high school mathematics and worked with children through a variety of clubs and organizations. She is currently working with a non-profit organization called Hip Hop 4 Kidz, which teaches students about social skills. She writes lesson plans and is the founder of the WisePigs sector, which teaches students about personal finance. She aspires to continuously enhance her professional development by reading blogs, newspapers and magazines, participating in online webinars, and staying abreast to the ever-changing world of education.
