Miss Dendas earned a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mount Aloysius College located in Pennsylvania. She also earned her minor in American Sign Language while studying at Mount Aloysius College. While studying education at school Miss. Dendas volunteered a lot around her community. She volunteered at camps for kids that had a variety of different disabilities, mentored students on campus, and helped with Special Olympics. During her time off she substituted in grades prek-4 in the school districts in the area. Once she graduated college she moved from Pennsylvania to Virginia where she began teaching developmentally at risk Pre-Kindergarten students, in Warren County School District. During these years, Miss Dendas learned a lot and discovered that she was right where she needed to be, teaching students. Throughout these years she began coaching 6th-8th grade cheerleading. She choreographed the halftime dances for each grade and assisted in choreographing the cheers. Miss Dendas’ family relocated out west earlier this year and she was soon to follow. Miss Dendas enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, and dancing. She is extremely excited to be apart of our team here and she cannot wait to meet all of the students and families!
